The Hamden Inn is a casual bar and restaurant whose goal is to provide a welcoming and fun experience. If you are an outgoing person with experience in the restaurant industry and want be a part of a close-knit crew, we would love to talk to you. We provide a positive work environment and we welcome applicants who are excited at the prospect of joining both the Hamden community and the Hamden Inn team. We are open five days a week and ideal candidates can commit to working at least two days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday) during dinner time shifts.

Bartenders / servers
These employees are the face of the Hamden Inn, and we value consistency as much as friendliness. We prioritize those with restaurant experience, but if you have a great work ethic and a good attitude, we’re more than happy to talk to you.
Runners + Bussers
This is a great job for someone who’s looking to enter the restaurant industry. You’ll work closely with our bartenders + servers to deliver food/drink and may help with hosting during busy times. You’ll earn an hourly wage plus a share of our tip pool.
Dishwasher / Cleaner
Our dishwashers are our lifeblood - we can’t operate without them! Besides loading the dishwasher and keeping things tidy, this staff member will periodically monitor high-traffic areas including the bathrooms and entry areas and may shift duties to attend to any sudden spills or broken glass.
